The weather is nice and pollen has died down some and I can knit without fear of sneezing or turning my yarn yellow. So outdoor knitting is a must right now. A park near my work, overpriced coffee, a good audiobook and a fun project make for a great lunch, even if I am making hats that are completely inappropriate for the impending summer heat.

What a cutie your nephew is - and what a beautiful blanket you made for him! Love the “hooter hider,” too, I made several for my daughter who just had a baby - but I didn’t think about lining it! Love your blog - I’ll definitely be back! Nan

Such an adorable photo! Nothing is better than a coffee and knitting (even if the drink’s overpriced).

It seems a great plan, even though overpriced coffee, and the sweater looks good :)

I think that I should also take my knitting to work, so I could make something useful in the meantimes…

Good idea!
